Losing connection now hub rebooting

A while ago started having problems with YouTube stopping and starting which gradually got worse.

Looked at hub logs to see lots of RS errors and warnings for RCS Partial Service and Lost MDD Timeout. The hub has now started rebooting itself and showing errors in the log

There are far too many Pre RS Error and far worse Post RS Errors on the 3.0 Downstream channels.

The 3.0 Upstream power level is on the high end, suggesting the Hub is working hard to satisfy the demand from the Street Cabinet.

Check all the coax cables are secure at the wall & at the Hub and are free from damage or kinks.

Check for known faults in your street – try both methods :

Call the local fault line: 0800 561 0061 – this is an automated number.

  • Can this post be deleted?  I didn't think it had posted, hub rebooted as I did it so I tried again and now see I have two posts for the same problem.

Strange, I can only see the one post, but then again, this new Board software is a bit quirky ...

A VM Hub reboot does not correct signal level issues and poor SNR figures.

Are you quite sure this is fixed ?

It's not fixed.  I made this post and as I clicked publish I saw the log still mad MACs in, then the hub rebooted and when I got back here I couldn't see the post so thought it had not worked and made another separate one.  I see now the button says discussion so maybe I should have said delete this discussion.

Irrespective, your shared BQM is a mess, so a VM technician will be needed to sort your connection out.   It will take a day or two for a VM Mod to pick this up and discuss with you.
