I have a solid red light on my hub3

I have noticed today that my hub3 has a solid red light. It is usually white. I’ve read it could be overheating and to make sure the vents are clear but they are (it’s been in the same place since I had it). I’ve switched it off and back on again and no change. The WIFI appears to be working fine. Any advice?

    Yes, firstly don't panic!

Almost certainly you have an old Hub 3 where the LED lamp is aging and these things tend to look red when they start to fail. So, as long as you have felt it and it does’t seem too hot, then you are OK.

But. the hub does need to be swopped out on the grounds that, if it were to overheat in the future, then how would you know!

Give it a day or so and a member of the forum team (VM employees) will get to this thread, offer to contact you via personal message and arrange for a new hub to be sent.
