Hub 4 Not Connecting to WM Connect App

I have had the same issue as many other people here...have done all the recommended steps and nothing is working.

I need to be able to control the wifi settings for my kids but find this app totally not fit for purposes.

Any suggestions to move this on rather than the reset router etc, that seems to be suggested. When will Virgin admit that there is a widespread issue with this hub?

Thanks

Then you didn’t delete the wretched CONNECT app from all devices.  It’s the app that’s causing the problem.  It just goes to show how stupid those Pods are because they won’t work without the wretched CONNECT app. No use getting your hopes up for an early fix. - there hasn’t been one for the months since this was first reported.

Please try dumping the wretched CONNECT app, reboot the Hub and report back.

Where "dumping" means the VM Connect app is uninstalled from every device in the home.

Then you can control WiFi from the Hub's GUI.  Once the wretched CONNECT app has been dumped, you should be able to access the HUb's GUI.

VM have admitted a couple of times that they are aware of the Hub 4 issues, but are quite silent on the Connect app connection to the matter, this as persisted for most of this year (2024) , perhaps since the last Hub 4 software update.

There are dozens / hundreds even of identical posts and the same issue persists, where the original poster does not read the information about the Connect app being the trigger of the Hub 4 issues, does not believe it and does not uninstall the Connect app or instantly re-installs the Connect app and then does not what to accept that this has triggered yet another identical Hub 4 issue.

I am not responding to any more Hub 4 / Connect app / failed menu / VM Pods offline issues.
