Hub 3 in modem mode showing on WiFi

Hi, 

 

I have just upgraded my WiFi and put the  hub 3 in modem mode. It was all easy enough and is working fine. 

However I'm still seeing the Hub 3 as a WiFi network. Even forgetting the WiFi still has it showing as an available WiFi network. I can't join it or anything and it does sometimes disappear. I don't want another WiFi signal congesting the new signals. 

Is this normal and will it effect the new WiFi? Also is it a security issue, where someone could find that network and use it?

      It is! I've turned off the modem/old router and it's still showing up!  It's quite a unique name

        You likely don't have to worry now now that you don't use that SSID

    Have you any power line adapters? Have you got an iPhone/iPad as Apple devices save every SSID you have visited.

      We have an iPhone and a Mac. But it's also showing up on my android phone. Even when the old router/modem is turned off.
