Had the hub 4 for years now and it's been dreadful since day 1! I got a call the other day and was offered an upgrade for 1gb internet and was told I would receive the newest router but then was told the hub 4 was the newest one.. which is a complete lie.
How do I get a hub 5? Getting 1gb speed on the hub 4 is just pointless.
I wouldn't count on the HUB 5 being any 'better'.
In some areas maybe (Wi-Fi 6 vs Wi-Fi 5) but certainly not others (Device compatibility).
Do yourself, and others in your household, a favour and spend a modest sum on a third-party router, with your HUB in modem mode:

It will be compatible with other ISPs if you choose to move to another in the future.
Hub 3 was giving me fast speeds with a range to all areas of my house and then the hub 4 came along and ruined it. Not sure why I should have to pay for a router myself. Will look into it though. thanks

Sorry to hear you weren't given a Hub5 when you upgraded to our 1GB speeds.
When a customer requires new equipment, it depends on what availability we have at the time.
If you're experiencing issues with the Hub4 or if it's faulty we can arrange for an engineer's visit to swap the equipment over. However, it may just be a like for like swap.

If you can check the logo at the top right of your screen that would be great.
