Is anyone else having issues with virgin DNS?
Try getting on sites like Toolstation and it comes up bad gateway. I turn off Wi-Fi use phone connection and works first time. Use a VPN it works but just on normal it won't connect. Happens with a few sites as well.
When NOT using a VPN:
When using a name server lookup are the problem sites resolving to the same IPs when using the VM DNS vs a Public DNS such a Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 or Google's 8.8.8.8 ?
If Yes , it is not a VM DNS issue, try a trace route to the sites, does it fail or resolve ?

i get 502 bad gateway on my home connection. use my parents connection up the road it works fine. i use a VPN it works fine. i have reset the router and still get the same.
"502 bad gateway" : is a failure message returned from the toolstation web server.
I also 502 from DVLA websites, a few F5 page refreshes usually get past this.
Might not be DNS but the CDN you connect to for a given site can't connect backend.
I don't use VM DNS but can get to https://www.toolstation.com/ fine
I can connect to that site without any problems and I use the VM DNS settings.
