Blocked Laptop

I blocked my daughter’s laptop from using the WiFi thru the Virgin App. I have now resumed the connection but the laptop states connected but no WiFi. There are no devices which are currently blocked within the App.

    Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the Community Forums, sorry to hear of the issues your daughter is having with internet access. If you paused the devices through the Connect App there may be a minor glitch with the app, you can also control this via the 192 settings on the label located on the HUb. If you are still facing issues please come back to us for further assistance.

    The App is unreliable for that purpose, because you are making changes to the same system that the app itself is using. You should log on to the Hub with a browser at 192.168.0.1, preferably by ethernet. 

    But bear in mind that blocking a device by its MAC code may not work for long because modern phones and laptops change their address at random.

    For Christmas VM to make everyone happy just remove the APP it don't work!
