Essentials not blocking porn but used to on ALL devices

I've seen all th epostrs but a lot mention the system.

Child safe/Essentials is not blocking adult content any any device on our wifi, android, iOS or windows.

I wonder ive i pay for the advanced security it would be working?

What is the fix please Virgin Media?

Two things to consider in the meantime whilst waiting for VM to fix.

    1. Manually set the DNS of device(s) to Cloudflare Adult and Malware DNS filters  1.1.1.3 and 1.0.0.3
    2. Buy your own Router and you can set the DNS to whatever service you need, e.g. as above

I've never understood own router option - does VM feed go to hub then from hub to my own router then I can set setting in that router?

Basically the VM Hub is set to "modem mode".. This just turns the Hub into a "bridge" between the VM network and your 3rd Party router (or MESH system).  The Hub has no function at this point, so to speak.  Everything you need to do is via the 3rd party Router, .e.g. DNS, Filtering, Time limits etc. etc;. You have full control over your internal LAN (network).

Check Child Safe is still enabled in the Virgin Media online account.

Virgin Media's Essential Security service requires their DNS be used. To determine if this is the case, from the device on which it is not working, go to https://one.one.one.one/help/ and confirm the reported AS Name value is Virgin Media. If AS Name is not the expected value then that would explain why it is not working and you would need to investigate whether DNS is being set on Wi-Fi router and / or device; the former can be ignored if only using Virgin Media's Hub.
