V6 Tivo box live TV wirelessly?

I have a Tivo V6 box, a Hub 3 router and a non-Smart TV. I want to reduce the number of wires. Is there any way of getting live TV wirelessly? I understand I could get the Tivo V6 box to connect to the Hub3 wirelessly for streaming but for live TV it has to be connected to the white Virgin co-ax cable via the splitter that also connects to the Hub3. I'm happy to get a Smart TV if that solves the issue. I've also purchased a TP-Link Deco Mesh wi-fi system but now realise that probably won't solve the issue!

  • Nope. You need the coaxial connection for the live channels. The V6 is a broadcast receiver & works in the same way as a Satellite or Freeview box. The former won't work without a coax dish connection, the latter won't work without a coax connected TV antenna, & likewise a cable box won't work without a direct cable connection to the network.
