TV GUIDE problem again V6 box

once again the TV guide on my V6 box is not updating properly, i have set a series link for BSB which i know is on TNT sports 4 , 9AUG,10AUG ,at 12:30 - 18:00 , BUT as the sat guide says on TNT sports 4  "To Be Announced" , it is not showing up in my RECORDINGS for 9aug,  how is this always happening with virgin media?  and how can i set a series link when the guide does not always update every channel properly. AND to annoy me even more AUG10 TNT SPORTS 4 Is set to record, as that day the tv guide is working!!!!

    Not much help to you, but it isn't your box, looking on a stream box it is the same.

    At least on a V6 your series link set even for a later date [Aug 10] should work on the earlier programmes assuming they do get the TV Guide right in the end.

    TNT have stopped putting an advanced schedule on their website in recent months, so there's nothing to compare with,

    My V6 is the same though - as long as the EPG is updated in plenty of time, recordings will be picked up. You can email mailto:tivoguideerrors@virginmedia.co.uk if you're particularly concerned.

    There are more than likely live events planned in this period, hence a final schedule is yet to be released. For example, the Global Champions Tour showjumping in London is normally shown live (takes place on the 10th). The repeat on the Monday is in the schedule, but the live Sunday sessions have still yet to appear. They are normally shown on TNT2 or TNT4. TNT are making a lot more use of the Red Button channels (TNT5 to 10) when there are clashes in live scheduling.

      The schedule in five days time should be known.

      Before making the post above I checked the schedule on SkyQ and BSB was there for both Saturday and Sunday afternoon, and checked that it is in the schedule in Discovery+ similarly.

        Just to add, the London showjumping is on:

        Fri 8th – 14:42 – 16:25
        Fri 8th – 17:15 – 20:10
        Sun 10th – 14:52 – 17:00

        None of these are on the linear channels.

    thanks for all replies , but i'm sure this is a Virgin Media V6 problem as i have checked tv guides elsewhere TV Guide & Listings | Radio Times and it show TNTSPORTS 4 showing all day program guide for sat 9th , so i know it is just this guide on my box , and as i said, all other days after sat also are fully populated properly.  !

      The comparison should always be with the broadcaster's own published schedule.

      Other third party guides are a useful tool, but won't ever trump the broadcaster.

    Virgin media why are you so useless, it is now 6 aug and still my V6 box shows no programs for sat 9 aug on tnt sports 4 , crazy , I know all sky boxes have their correct TV guide for 9th aug, why is this so bad on virgin boxes?
