Not always the same channel or show .various times Purley 100%  random .never know when or how often i will happen  has anyone got an idea whats causing this ?

The thread this particular post was added to, was regarding a user with live TV pixellating, which is not clear from yours whether the symptoms are the same. Hence this post has been moved to the same thread as your other posts on the same subject.

Better to keep all your posts on the same subject, in the same thread to not confuse replies. Check the replies above, for advice in your case.

Hard to guess without more information.

Which TV box do you have. How is it connected to the Hub. Do other devices have intermittent connections.

Very easy test for this issue.

1: Is live TV affected? If so, then this is very likely an incoming signal issue and should be reported to VM. It would naturally follow that recordings of that live feed will also be problematic.

2: Now try pausing live TV for a short time and view it delayed. This is also a recording and uses the hard drive in the same way. How's this?

Signal faults can sometimes be resolved by a single reboot but if issues persist, need "boots on the ground" to investigate the cause. Hard drive issues will need a tech visit to swap your V6 out.
