My V6 box problem
Sport on HD Chanels breaks up both on vision and sound. This does not happen when on a none HD Chanel of the same sport. Why is that?

Hi AlanS2,
Which particular sports channels? eg Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Racing, TNT Sports3, Eurosport 2, Premier Sports 1
To add to newapollo's excellent question...
Pixellated pictures on live TV are often the sign of a signal fault. If you've rebooted your box once, then there's likely a fault somewhere, so this will need VM to intervene. You're likely to need either an engineer visit or a replacement box, depending on what VM's remote diagnostics turn up.
Digital TV platforms carry channels in small groups known as multiplexes, usually a signal fault will affect all channels on the affected mux. The multiplex grouping does not correlate to EPG positions, and channels of a similar genre are generally spread across multiplexes. Thus you'll likely find perhaps one or two "sports" channels on any given multiplex, alongside perhaps a documentary or two, and some general interest ones. With limited exceptions, multiplexes tend to be either SD or HD.
First check the automated faults line for any existing issues in your area that could be the cause: 0800 5610061. If nothing's reported, assume VM don't know about your fault and ideally you'll need to call them.
150 from a VM phone, 0345 4541111 from any other phone - choose the options for "I have a fault with my TV service". Alternatively you can wait on here for staff to respond, which may take a day or so.
Hi AlanS2,
Thank you for your post. We're sorry to hear about the issues on your channels.
To confirm, have you ensured all the cables are tightly secured?

I should have said breaks up on UHD Chanels not HD Chanels.
Hello AlanS2
Sorry to hear of the image issue when watching the UHD sports channels, we appreciate you raising this via the forums.
As asked above, is this across all of the channels or just certain ones? Does it impact all content or just Live TV? There is some general advice here in regards to TV issues.
There are six sports channels broadcast in UHD, which ones are breaking up?
