My bedroom V6 box is randomly rebooting during the day. Not very often but when I go into the room the sure sign is that the box is on when it should be off. Could someone take a look at the box for me and let me know whether it needs replacement and if it does whether I need to photograph hundreds of series links or I can copy them using a web link still?

We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with your V6 box rebooting. We've run some checks this end and tried to remotely fix things however that's not been possible. We'll need to arrange an engineer visit to come and check things.

I have asked if there is actually a problem with it or was it just some updates but it appears that there is but not really an explantaion of what. I need time to make a note of my hundreds of series links unless you can guarantee that I can copy them back. I have already amended the booking that was made without me actually speaking to you. I am on holiday next week so not sure of my movements but I want to know about series links please as you used to be able to copy from replaced boxes using a Web link and we need to watch the stuff recorded on that one not on the other because if it is replaced I will loose all those recordings..
And strangley no reboots in the last 5 days now..
