It's very frustrating when virgin do not update schedule listing's. I would like to record the Popes funeral on Saturday, but when I scroll forward to Saturday it still has the original programme listing's, therefore cannot record it. This has happened before.
My V6 is not showing the Pope's programming either - I'm sure it'll be updated by tomorrow.
In the meantime, TiVo-firmware on a V6 allows you to set manual recording. Home > My Shows > Set Manual recording. Choose the time & channel as you see fit.
VM uses third party facilities to update the EPG. The box then searches for amendments every 2 hours.
Bear in mind that Freeview terrestrial TV updates happen immediately only because the BBC owns the multiplex it uses, so has direct access to it’s own EPG data.
