Plus they appear to have done away with the one button press on the remote to get subtitles on the screen. Then, when fast forwarding, you could flick between the little index piles which were sometimes 10/15/30 minutes apart depending on the length of the programme. The more I’m using it the more I dislike it.

Instead of pressing the context button you can use the voice function and say 'subtitles'. They will be turned on if available.
You can also go into Settings > Accessibility > Subtitle Options > and switch subtitles to default to On or Off.
