Virgin Media 360 faults

Unhappy with a couple of elements of the Virgin 360 system

1.  Liked the old Favourite Apps - would be happy with Recently Used BUT why have it two or three scrolls down rather than default as the first item?

2. More important I still have a perfectly working Sony 1080P tv I can set the 360 resolution to 1080P from Automatic BUT it never saves even though I have said save within the 15 seconds.I get the screen occassionally going grey white noise and if I check the resolution has suddenly defaulted back to Automatic.

Otherwise quite enjoying the additional channels and access.
