Virgin box tv not working

Ever since I called customer service on 31/07 my virgin tv box has not been working properly, literally got off the phone & box stopped working. I asked them to resend my remote for my 360 upgrade as it was delivered to someone else. 

Now my virgin box won't record, can't get on demand or catch up. Anyone have any idea what to do?

    Try... Turn off the 360 with the switch on the back of the box, then on the 360 press and hold down both the power button and the + button at the same time. Then turn on the 360 again whilst keeping hold of those buttons for a further 30 seconds. The box should reboot, the power button will turn blue, and it should reset and boot up normally.

  • Now it's in a start up loop tarting up, welcome page & then with this symbol every so often 

    Do I need to ask for a new box? Or is it salvageable? 

  • Now the box won't even show live tv just in a loop of starting up and this symbol, can it recover or should I be asking for a new tv box?
