V360 So called "Upgrade" - help please!

Question

We recently had the V360 software upgrade to our old TiVo box. Since then, we haven't been able to record anything and we can't "rewind" anything as we used to be able to. We've had various error codes but can't seem to get it to work properly. We've tried rebooting it several times to no avail. We were told some time ago that we were due for a new TiVo box, so we were expecting to be sent a new V360 box instead. Our ancient box just can't cope with the upgrade, as well as the fact that we've lost all our old recordings, favourites, etc. Can an engineer come out or can we have a new box sent to us please??&nbsp;

Take a look at the photos of the boxes at https://www.virginmedia.com/care/tv-fault/which-tv-boxand can you clarify which you had?

I ask because the legacy TiVo's cannot take Horizon software (which is what drives TV360) and are physically swapped for new boxes. It's only the V6 which can be software reformatted.

Your tivo should have been replaced with a V6.&nbsp;

Thanks for the replies, we have got a newer V6 box but the upgrade hasn't worked properly. We've got an engineer coming out this afternoon, so hopefully things will be sorted soon!&nbsp;

Thanks, yes we have got a V6 box, but we still call it the TiVo.&nbsp;

But it should have been replaced with a V6 still using the familiar V6 software. The 360 "upgrade" was not compulsory.&nbsp;
