UHD Gone to Pot Again!!

Last week watching a match on Sky Sports on Sports UHD channel, the picture was fine. Now, it has gone back to what it was, dull, lifeless, grey looking. Really annoyed since UHD is part of my package and I am paying a hefty sum for the privilege. Have changed the HDMI Cable to a much faster one, TV is definitely 4K.  Anyone else enduring the same problems?

  • Hey MrGiles22, thank you for reaching out and we are sorry to hear about your UHD issue.

    How often has been happening?

What games has this been happening with?

UHD has been troubling for some time now. Only with Sky Sports though. I am going to attempt to replace the HDMI Cable with a 2.2 connection which might speed up the transmission. Will need to purchase the cable first. But I think it has been a common problem since the upgrade on the 360 Box.

What TV do you have, you might receive a response from someone with the same TV with a helpful answer if it's now a setting's issue.

It would help if you provided the actual model number, for example there are ten 65" Panasonic TV's on the Curry's website, seven on John Lewis website, and seven on Richer Sounds website.

      Hi MrGiles22

Thanks for coming back to the thread. Were you able to try a new HDMI cable?

Yes have tried a new HDMI 2.2 Cable hasn't made any difference, although the cable runs from the AV Receiver direct to the HDMI Slot on TV.

  • Are you having issues with any other channels? The coaxial cable would be from the Virgin Media wall socket to your TV not from the TV box to your TV.

Please can you check that its securely plugged in at both the TV and wall socket?

    Kind Regards,

Can you connect the TV's HDMI 1 directly to the 360 and tell us what it's like.

  • Does not make any difference. All connections are via AV Receiver.
