Can anyone let me know if I upgrade to TV 360 from a V6 box will I definitely maintain access to Rte channels (I'm in N Ireland), including the ability to record and use series link? Thanks
A choice to convert from V6 > TV360 makes no difference whatsoever, to your channel availability.
TV360 allows series link & recording, but they do work fundamentally differently to the series linking on a V6

We can't really answer that question as these forums are for VM UK customers. I would imagine that if the RTE channels are available on a V6 box then they will still be available on the TV360 boxes in Ireland.

Thanks for the quick reply. N Ireland is in the UK, but we get access to 3 Irish channels at present. I don't want to lose them if I upgrade. I am with Virgin Media UK.

I checked with virgin support and I couldn't get a straight answer. They weren't sure if I would be able to record rte channels due to licensing issues? Can anyone verify this? Thanks
The live broadcast channels you receive are dependent on your channel package, not the equipment you receive it on. There is a difference between V6 & V360, but this only relates to streamed “fast” channels & third party apps. The RTE channels & TG4 are from broadcast reception (you are actually watching a rebroadcast of the Belfast local Freeview terrestrial service piped through VMs kit.
