TV Box suddenly not working

I was watching a recording I made earlier, and when I went back to recordings on the TV box I got an error message. I'm still receiving all the channels, but everything else is showing error messages, such as recordings, the home button etc. The box still appears to be capable of recording and playing back, but I can't call up the my recordings or planned recordings . And as far as I can tell, the recordings are still on the box as I receive a message when recording a series, that it has already been recorded. The Internet connection is fine...I have tried rebooting everything but to no avail. All the connecting cables are fine.
  • I don't know if it's coincidence but I tried signing in with the TVGO app, and I'm receiving a service unavailable message on the app as well as the TV box.

    What are the specific error messages &/or codes that you're seeing? Can you pause & rewind live TV? This is also a recording.

    I was getting error message on box this morning in recordings, on app too, but working okay now.

  • Thanks, yes, all working now, so is the TVGO app.

    Looks like the problem was at the Virgin end. I looked at the status page last night but it just said that the Broadband had intermittent problems, but TV was OK.
    With me it was the opposite.

    Thankfully, all recordings are intact.
