My downstairs TV gave the error CS2004 when trying to tune into a channel, so I tried on a second box in the house and it also has the issue. As I was going through the troubleshooting my neighbour from across the street called on the mobile to say they were getting the same - however the support agent told them that everyone was fine and nobody else was having issues.
How do we tell them they are wrong??
It will be interesting to see if this magically fixes itself when the temperature drops. Extreme heat can cause signal levels to go temporarily out of spec, leading to lost channels. Usually if a cabinet overheats it will trigger a network alarm. But individual connections are not monitored, so if several of these go out of spec in hot weather it is not detectable at VMs end.
thanks, we are not receiving any channels in the 3 properties - never had weather affecting it before, hopefully it will sort out when the sun sets
person has advised me to check my cables and wait while they run a test on my box, not actually listening to the fact it is numerous boxes in different properties
no being told there are no faults in the area so the other properties will need to call, which they already have.
now I;m being told there is an outage, but don't know when from the engineer is getting it fixed and will be resolved asap
continue to asking when this fault is from as we've been trying to sort this for an hour already, this is frustrating--- case of just computer says no

looks as if they weren't correct in what they were telling the 3 of us on the phone.
Having the same issue in sunny swansea both downstairs and upstairs error CS2004 also says no issues in area 😒
Exactly the same problem here in Port Talbot, Wales.
