Moving tv box

I've recently moved my 2 tv boxes and purchased a cable from amazon but I've now lost access to some sky sports uhd channels, how can I get a proper extension cable?

    1) Virgin use specialised triple screened cable. Don't trust the stuff from Amazon, it is not approved & may cause interference to ingress onto the local network. At worst this could disrupt the services of everyone attached to your street cabinet.

    2) You are losing channels either because of interference, or because your signal levels are now out of tolerance. When Virgin techs alter cabling they will open the street cabinet & rebalance the levels so your services are not affected by the changes.

Contact Virgin & arrange a technician visit. It will cost you £25 as it is a customer requested alteration. I would suggest removing the said cables as Virgin will charge you far more if your alterations cause issues on the local network.

Yeah I've removed them already, I've seen that virgin can send a 3m cable but I'm unsure how to request 2

Hmm! Not a good idea. That is adding 6 metres to the installation. Virgin will chance replacing a single 1 metre cable with 3 metres, but any more should involve a tech visit as a rebalance may be necessary. I will shift this thread to the TV support boards so that Virgin staff can follow up & book a tech for you.
