Mini Box Install

Recently ordered tv and broadband including x 1 mini box

Engineer arrived yesterday completed install of main box and asked where second box was going so advised him was going in bedroom he said i had 2 options hard wired which we we're prepared for or a mini box that worked via wifi just like my old sky mini box did so asked if it worked just like sky to be told yes and that he would make some notes on account and then would be sent the box i need 

Called today be told what the engineer offered me isn't an option and after being on the phone for over 1 hr still none the wise regarding my 2nd box as anybody else been advised of these new boxes

  • Another customer has been told the same, it might be something that will be available in the future but at the moment you can't have a Stream / Flex box on the same account as a 360 box.

    Have you actually received a second box. You will have to call Virgin again and arrange an engineer to install the required coax cable for live TV and bring the second box if you haven't got one. You can either use an ethernet cable or wi-fi for the network connection for the apps and everything else.

      I was told the same several months ago. I find it hard to believe that in 2024, the communication between VM and their engineers out in the field is somewhat lacking. It doesn't reflect very well in all honesty.
