Lost all recordings

My mother-in-law lost all her recordings last week and then could not record, engineer came today and I was there to check it all for her. Came home and all my recordings have gone. I know they are not directly linked but what is causing it, dodgy software update maybe, if so that's not good !

  • So did your MIL get a new box to cure her problem.

    No problems with the software version 5.16 on my boxes if you updated old V6 boxes this is a common problem if you can pause and rewind live TV and set new recordings then it looks like your box is working for now, if you can't then you need to give Virgin a call.

    You could also try a factory reset of the 360, and if you haven't got any recordings you might as well go for the format disk option and if or 'when' the box deletes everything again then phone Virgin.
