ITV X app crashes - black screen

Over the past month we've hit a consistent problem with the ITV-X app on our Virgin Media box.  When the ITV-X app is selected, the TV screen goes blank and just sits their doing nothing.  If I then physically turn off both the TV and Virgin Media box at the wall, wait a while, turn back on, I can then successfully use ITV-X ... until we stop using it.  Reselecting ITV-X after watching something else then results in exactly the same problem.  We don't have issues with any other apps, just ITV-X.

    You could try a factory reset of the box using the keep recordings option to see if it makes any difference as it's only ITV-X that has this problem.

    Sorry to hear you are having some issues with the ITVX app. 

    Were you able to try the advice of roy247? (And reset the TV box) - Please let us know how you got on! Hopefully it's resolved the problem. 🤞
