360 upgrade didn’t work on 2nd TiVo box

I have two TiVos and just updated the main one with the 360 box but the second one didn’t upgrade as promised. Phoned for support but beyond a lot of switching and off no resolution. Anyone had a result with this issue as I’ve now got a second TV I can’t watch and very unhappy family. Thanks!

  • You say 2 TiVo's, are they both V6 boxes. Do you get an error message.

    You could try swapping the boxes around to see if that makes any difference.

      Thanks. Yup I did that and it pulled the upgrade for TV but wouldn’t connect to WiFi. I then plugged in Ethernet and it now won’t connect at all??

        If you have an ethernet cable plugged in it will overide the wifi, did the 360 update complete, if you want to connect using wifi you will need to unplug the ethernet cable.

         

  • Thanks. I did that and it knocked out the TV signal for some reason. Saying there’s an issue between the cable, connectors or splitters of the main tv signal connection and the tv box. Which is rubbish as the TV worked before the Ethernet was plugged in. ??

      Do either of your boxes work if connected to any of your coax points using either ethernet cable or wi-fi.

        Yes the 360 box is good but the V6 has lost my account completely. Phoned the helpline which was useless and told id get a technician call within 5 days!!
