My phone line doesn't work properly

my mom has to pay for the phone line even though it don't work properly and it's says yellow on it meaning it hasn't been fixed yet my mom's been paying for it for ages and we're struggling to pay it off...

    When did she report the problem to VM? What was their response?

    Sorry to hear that your mother's having issue with their phone line. Does our status checker here show any outages affecting them currently?  You can also call our status line on 0800 561 0061 or check your My Virgin Media for more information here

     

    If not, how do they have their phone line set up? Is it connected to the wall socket in a master socket or extension or is the phoneline connected to the router through the GREY TEL 1 port?
