1471 giving incomplete information

Hi,

My issue has been going on for almost a month, but when someone calls my line when you call 1471 the day after it does not tell you the month or year and it does not tell you that there is a charge for pressing 3 to return the call. I believe this is a nationwide issue as I have tried to get hold of many of the Virgin Media team and I finally got one who confirmed the fault but no one else since then has seemed to have picked up on it.

      Sorry to hear of your concerns with 1471 not providing information. 

      Are you advising that the information 1471 has changed since you've used it before? Are you using a feature on your handset by proxy, or do you solely use BT 1471? 

  • Yes exactly that. I am using virgin’s 1471 and not BT’s.

      1471 is a BT-owned service which can be used by other providers. More information on this can be found here

      We have no control over the information provided on 1471 or the service offered through 1471. 

      Are you disputing charges you have incurred using 1471?
