Virgin TV GO problem

I can watch iPlayer or YouTube on my iPad with no problem, but if I try watching something using VM TV Go app it'll cut out between 15 - 30 minutes.
I'm using my own Wi-Fi network.
Am I missing some setting in the app?
any advice please.

    Sorry to hear about our TV Go app cutting out after so many minutes.

    As you're using your own network, would you be able to test the App on our WIFi just to see if that is the cause?

    Also are you able to try this on an alternative device.

      When I say my own network I mean VM hub 3 and at my own home.

        Update: I ran the app on both my iPad and iPhone simultaneously. Both devices experienced a dropout within seconds of each other, indicating a potential wi-fi issue. Subsequently, I ran the iPlayer app on my iPad and Virgin TV GO on my iPhone, with obviously different programs on each. If it were a wi-fi problem, both should have disconnected. Virgin TV GO went off after approximately 30 minutes, while iPlayer continued playing without interruption. 

        Therefore, it is clearly not a wi-fi issue.

    When you refer to your own WiFi network, do you mean that your VM hub is in modem-mode and you're using your own router?

    As another way of eliminating that, do you have the same problem with other WiFi routers?
