This programme can only be played on your Virgin TV box... How is this TV "on the go"?!

I want to watch sky cinema on my phone. I have downloaded the app and all the movies are showing... All of them say they can only be viewed in my TV box.

So this app basically just acts as a middle man between me and my normal remote control? What is the point?

The website has lots of claims about being able to watch all my services wherever I am on up to 5 different devices... But links are dead, the sky cinema app no longer exists, there are no devices registered on my app and there are no instructions to tell me how to add to this list of devices.

I've tried to use this many times over the years, always too dark and think it is the fault of poor internet outside the house or my own failings... But this is ridiculous. It's supposed to be part of the service I pay for and have paid for for many years... But it still hasn't been set up to be user friendly enough to actually do what it says it is supposed to?

Surely it is false advertising to still have webpages telling people about this great service that didn't actually work and has no support to disk if when you actually need it (or.. When your not at home and want to use it!).

Viewing of individual programmes via portable devices is down to the broadcaster or content owner. They can block the viewing of any programmes they wish too. You can also only view your recordings from within your own home WiFi network. Viewing of recordings is only licenced for use at the address the account is held. So if you are trying to view using your mobile data forget it.
