Downloading content

I have several recordings accessible on my TV Go App, but I never seem to record anything that I am able to download anything onto my device.  This boils down to 3 reasons, I suspect:

  1. The download facility is no longer available from V360 (@virginmedia - you are best positioned to tell me if this facility is still available)
  2. All of the content that I record is subject to copyright issues that prevents downloading (@virginmedia - let me know a of a current programme that doesn't infringe copyright issues, so that i can record it, and see if the download facility is made obvious on my TV Go APP)
  3. I have a particular problem with my account (I will only know this, depending on the answers to point 1 and point 2.

    I appreciate this is an old post but having read it there doesn't appear to be an answer or solution from the Virgin team. 

    I have recently been forced to change my box from V6 to the 360 due to constant emails and calls telling me my software and app was out of date and the box would no longer work. 

    One of the reasons I have virgin tv is to record and download my favourite programs to watch when I'm away from home with work. 

    As above I now have the same issue. The programs I used to record and download from my V6 box can't be downloaded anymore. They had there own apps when I had my V6 box so how can that be the issue?

     It appears to me the 360 box or virgin app is controlling or preventing this option now which for me is not an upgrade at all, infact it's a good enough reason to cancel my virgin tv as I don't get much chance to watch live tv.  Majority is recorded and most of that was watched while away from home when I had the much better V6 box. 

    Looking for some help and a solution before I cancel.

    All Virgin Media TV customers can use the Virgin TV Go app to download selected shows and movies to watch offline.

      If I click on the 3 dots shown underneath all programmes that I have recorded, none of them prompt me with a download option.

        Hi Mark_NTL 

        Can you provide some examples of the programmes please? It's potentially likely a copywrite issue but we'll check.
