Channel 4 Not available Sorry - we can't play this at the moment 1002

All the other channels seem to be fine on TV Go. Just this one. I tried different browsers and private mode (to isolate issues related to cookies etc) and it is the same.

    Thanks for your post - sorry to hear you're having issues with Channel 4 on TV Go. 

    I've just tested this myself on my personal device and I'm able to watch the channel without any issues. How long has this been an issue for you? Are you please able to check again for us to see if the issue is still present?

      It's still not working. I have tried logging in and out, private mode, different borwsers and on my mobile with the app and Channel 4 HD won't play but all other channels *including* *Channel4+1* that I tried will play as normal. So it is likely a system or account issue. I am in CV8.

        What mobile are you using?

        What type of content are you trying to watched on Channel 4? Not everything they put on can be watched on demand 

  • I’ve also been having this issue for weeks! All other channels work.. Is there a fix?

        Sorry to hear of the issue experienced on Channel 4 via our TV Go application.

        Can you please confirm if this has been tested over multiple different devices or is it just one in particular you have attempted to use so far?

  • Exact same issue here, "Not available 1002", Using Chrome latest on Windows 11.

      We're sorry to see you've been having issues with using Channel 4 on TV Go. Just to confirm, have you been able to try this on another device and the app to see if you continue to have the same issue?

        Yes, Same issue using Firefox/LibreWolf - All other channels play fine.

  • Guys mine is working now but not sure if it’s because of me accepting the beta testing update for the go app..?

      Me too but I have made no changes at all having ignored it and used Channel4+ instead for months rather than the offered call to tech support. I never used the app, I was having the problem using a browser to access TVGo.

        Are you getting the error code 1002?

        Does it work fine on Channel 4+1 all the time?
