Upload speed add-on and Volt

A bit of background first - I'm in a Nexfibre (XGS-PON) area, and I have the M500 package with the "Upload speed add-on" for symmetric speeds.

I spoke to a retentions agent this morning, as my Volt benefits hadn't been applied since my service was activated on 9th December.

My partner already had an active O2 account at the same address, and their benefits had been activated already.

The agent filled out a form on their end, and advised me that I'd receive an email within 24 hours.

Sure enough, I received an email not long ago to inform me that my Volt benefits would be applied within 14 days.

I ran a speed test straight away to see if anything had changed, and was now getting the higher download speeds.

Unfortunately, the upload speeds now seem to be capped to the standard circa 104 Mbps, rather than the symmetric speeds I'm paying for.

I have tested this on a laptop with a gigabit NIC connected directly via Ethernet cable to the Hub.

Please can a member of staff provide some assistance with this.

AFAIK, the symmetrical speeds have an additional cost?

Yes, as stated I'm already paying for the add-on.

        Ahh, I need bigger glasses!

  • Hi, is anyone able to help with this? I can see other newer threads getting replies.

      Hello hgax385,

Welcome to the Community, and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re experiencing with your Volt benefits at the moment.

I'd be happy to take a further look into this for you; however, I would need to confirm a few details via private message. Please look out for my message, and we can get started.
      Kind Regards,
