Significant speed drops SW19.

So my speeds today have dropped from their usual uppr 200 mbps to around about 40 mbsp. According to the service checked there are intermittent signal drops on my line. No work's scheduled in my area so I'm curious as to what's causing the slow speeds. I WFH and need a fast constant connection. Any Virgin people around to help?

Many thanks.

I'm seeing the same issue in KT12 not far from you. My connection dropped from 300 to 40Mbps on the 2nd Sept at around 0230. A reset sent it back up for a few hours but it is now back down at 40-60Mbps. No explanation so far from VM on why, I've contacted them via phone and online chat. The phone was fun because they told me to reset the router which of course cut off the phone call because VM switched off the copper phone lines and now my phone goes through the router (facepalm). Not particularly helpful. Got through to a human on online chat eventually. They put a monitor on my connection. No clarity on cause.

  • Hey virgopunk, thank you for reaching out and  we are so sorry to hear about your speed issue.

We've run some checks and everything is looking great on our end, how has the connection been for you over the weekend?
