It’s not too clear but what speed are you currently paying for and what are you getting? Are you one a faster than 350 Mb/s connection now?
One likely possibility is that your area is over subscribed, too many people for the available capacity and as such VM have ‘capped’ new customers to 350 Mb/s, which, if true is commendable on VM’s behalf, better to be honest, rather than sell a service which they know can’t be realised.
If this is the case then obviously you are still on RFoG and your area hasn’t been moved to XGS-PON. But, I suspect that if you do nothing then your connection speed will stay the same, but you will need to pay a lot more, any new customers will be limited to 350, I’m not sure what will happen if you attempt to negotiate a new contract for the same speed you have now but for a lower price. It is possible that VM’s systems will simply say ‘computer says no’!

i am on Gig1, and my speeds are as contracted.
Yeah i would not stay with VM after contract expiration and pay £75+ a month for this service.
Luckily BTO showed up last month so VM have made my choice easy for me...

Hi Stefcolosi,
Thanks for posting, and sorry for any confusion regarding your speeds.
So I can check things for you, I've popped you over a private message.
