Inconsistent speeds and bad connection

Getting bad and inconsistent UPLOAD speeds in my area (gateshead)  2.5 to 40 mbps on 600mbps,
causing timeouts etc. Hop 4 ALWAYS fails, sometimes things are fine but evenings its unbearable.

I cant get use the online status tool to check connection, I tried it a month or 2 ago and got a message saying my  wifi hub needs replacing,

i clicked the order a wifi hub  button and went through the process, they sent out the exact same model of superhub 3, i installed it and it worked went to service status again and guess what.

so now i have a bad connection and no way to see if its an area problem or any status of it.

  • Don't worry about timeouts in traceroutes, that alone is not a sign of a problem and just means the server is set not to respond to ping requests. My own traceroute to that IP is very similar:

I finally managed to reply to your pm,

this is the current state of affairs though.

this was today, but after restarting superhub

this is repeatable, speeds drop, reboot modem and speeds go back to somewhere near normal.
