Upgraded to gig1 from M125 - when will speed change
On Monday, I agreed with VM to go from M125 to Gig1 broadband. This requires a new Hub which is coming by courier today and I’ve to install it myself.
Will the speed automatically increase once I install the new Hub?
Current Hub is v3 and speed test still showing 132mbps. New contract doesn’t state a date for speed change and there’s no indication of an engineer coming. I did pay a £35 installation fee.
The new configuration file needs the Hub 5 to be installed before it can be sent to your Hub. Once installed you can see if it works, if not time to complain.
