Unfortunately help needed for order cancellation

I sent a recorded tracked cancellation letter to VM in Sunderland on the 17 June 2024 to cancel my VM order for Quick-Start Installation not due for delivery until 10 August 2024, they received it on 18 June and signed for by a VM employee. I had to cancel due to my wife’s sudden serious deterioration of her medical condition and me being in my mid 80s have been advised to move into a more suitable home. I have had no confirmation from VM that my order has been cancelled as requested, it seems still to be live, could somebody check that it has been cancelled, I tried phoning but being hard of hearing it was not successful...Thanks, in anticipation
