Switch phone to router, a long way from phone podit

My phone is due to be switched  to broadband  tomorrow. The problem  is : Phone position is in the kitchen .The  router/hub is upstairs   and a long way from if the phone  is moved will not be heard...

Typoed meant “ little charger / lead unit .. “ . That had to be plugged in regardless to the wall doesn’t it ?..
