Street green box blocking driveway

Hi I was hoping for some help please.
There is a large green street cabinet box situated at the end of the driveway on the path, smack in the middle of the driveway making it really awkward to access the drive.
After chasing many different companies we are told it’s a virgin box. Tried to find details of where to contact to discuss but struggling.
The council won’t do a drop curb until the box is moved, I’m going round in circles.
please can any advise as to what to do, who / where I can contact.
Thank you

To be a bit more explicit, a photo showing the box and the entire frontage.

From what you have said, the replies so far are quite negative. But a picture really is worth a thousand words and would give a better idea of the problem.

  • 'Street green box blocking driveway' should read 'Driveway built when street green box was already present'.

Photos of the offending box would be helpful.  It's very rare for VM to place cabinets anywhere near a driveway.  These placements have to the agreed by the Council/Planning etc.

Based on previous enquiries its probably quicker and cheaper to move house!

    Create an enquiry here

You have to pay VM a non-refundable fee of £250-ish to produce a quote for the work.

We have seen prices quote on here of a few hundred pounds for a simple task of lowering a chamber cover up to five figure sums for more complicated jobs (such as moving a cabinet).

Expect to end up paying £xx,xxx to have a street cabinet relocated to enable a new drive way to be created with access to a road.
