Previous account in my my property not cancelled

I moved in a new property two weeks ago and when I ordered my quick start package I was avised that my account couldn't be set up until the previous tenant has cancelled their connection.

I don't know who the previous tenant is and Virgin customer service says that they haven't been able to get in touch with them. My landlord has sent emails asking for the disconnection but we are two weeks in the process nothing has happened.

I now urgently need a broadband connection as I cannot work from home without it and this impacts my ability to perform my duties. Please urgently advise how to proceed.

  • Managed to get to the right customer service department and after an hour call the previous account has been cancelled.

    Hopefully we should be up and running in a couple of days.
