No Response from Virgin After Postcode Check – Need Advice

When I enter my address into the postcode checker, I’m prompted to fill out a form and informed that someone will contact me within 10 working days. However, I never receive a response.

Meanwhile, all of my neighboring addresses have Virgin installation available.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can move forward?

  • Hi stiopa

    Welcome to the Community Forums.

Sorry to hear that the team haven't been in touch regarding installation at your address.

We would only be able to complete the same form for you on our side. Have you spoken with the new customers sales team on 0800 183 1234? They may have further information regarding serviceability to your address.

  • Hi @Carley_S

Looks like the person in this thread:

    https://community.virginmedia.com/discussions/Setup/availability---neighbours-have-it-why-can%E2%80%99t-i/5485558

had a similar issue and you managed to help him.

Are you not doing that anymore  ?

Hi stiopa, thank you for your response.

In order to look into this for you further, we'll send you a private message on here. Look out for the envelope in the top right-hand corner.

      Regards,
      Daniel

  • Hello,

I had to do the same thing and got a call from a network sales advisor which was a bit random as I don't even know if that was legit. We realised virgin media does not offer internet services in the new building we moved to as I was told would need to be installed but we needed permission from the owners. Anyway a few days later I get a text from virgin media saying they are sending a pre-paid package so that I can send back the router etc which is something I never asked for.

  • I've filled that form in so many times and never receive a response. The helpline and webchat people can't help. I've come to the conclusion that Virgin just don't want the business
