new customer tv + PC different rooms

Hi, we are moving to a new property, the property might have had virgin before and i suspect the inlet is in the lounge. We intend to have virgin tv and broadband but i dont know whether i need an extra box if i want the computer in a bedroom.  Previously property i had the hub in the bedroom direct connect to pc and the tv connected via wi-fi, is it still the same case.  If so do i need an engineer to move the entry point?

Ok thanks, my main concern is the download speed via wi-fi as direct cable connection is faster, but that may have improved recently.

Firstly, there are no specific "sockets" for Broadband or TV. It all comes down the same cable, which is split to wherever equipment is needed. So you can swap the BB Hub with the TV box at different locations without technical assistance.

Further to that, the standard TV box is now an internet streaming box that no longer requires a coaxial connection to VMs network. It only uses Wi-Fi or Ethernet. If you still want a recording facility (coaxial hard wired V360 box) you HAVE to request this directly with telephone sales. It can no longer be ordered online. There is a one-off fee of £49 for activation of a V360 box.
