Move cable entry point

Hi,

I need to move my broadband cable house entry point from one room to another. I'm moving my router to another room. It will be on the same outside wall just moved around two metres. 

Can anyone advise the best way to progress with this?

  • Hi, I tried calling but I can't get through to customers services. I keep getting disconnected after the automated service.

    There will be a fee of £25. 

    The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post.

      Sorry to hear you've not been able to get through to customer services regarding a request to relocate your router. 

      Just to confirm, are you asking to move the box on the outside wall two metres or the inside faceplate two metres?
