Information for Landlord/lady re "At the end of your tenancy or contract with Virgin Media"

Hello

Although my Landlady has approved to a Virgin media connection, she has requested the following information:

  • At the end of your tenancy or contract with Virgin Media, could you find out if they remove the box, or if they don't remove it, do they disconnect it, or what happens?

If you could provide confirmation of the procedure, I would appreciate it.

Many Thanks

  • You will be required to return the HUB, Wi-Fi pods and TV boxes as they are loaned to the contract holder.

All external cabling, the outside wall box and the internal white box remain in place, VM do not remove them making it easy for a new member to use the self-install pack if they join VM.

Do pay attention to the length of the VM contract being 18+ months, that is usually a lot longer than the rental agreement.    Should you cancel VM's service early, expect to pay in full for all remaining contracted months, and expect VM to instruct debt collectors should you walk away terminating the direct debit.
