Hello there I'm getting virgin media in my house and I'm wondering how 360 multi room work as I'm currently with sky and it runs via WiFi is the 360 mini boxes the same or do they run off cables the only problem with that is that I live in a terrace house and I want one in the living room one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom on the second floor will they be able to run the cable up the front wall and into the attic and down into the bedroom.
V360 uses broadcast format boxes, so they require 3 connections:
1) A connection to VMs coaxial cable for the broadcast channels.
2) Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection to the VM hub for app content, guide data & updates.
3) An HDMI connection to your TV.
This applies to both the main box & any multi room boxes.
Install technicians are not heights trained & only carry ladders that access to first floor height. Unless you are able to wire internally or drop a pull wire from the loft down to a level the installation tech can get at, the installation in the bedroom is not going to happen.
