how do you complain about Fibre pole position

I seem to be going around in circles in being able to complain to Virgin about the position of a new pole for fibre which is about to happen but should not go where marked on pavement. Anyone got any idea where to lodge complaint with Virgin on this specific topic?

thanks

  • I'll try the council but I do not give out much of hope of them responding quickly once I can find the right dept as seems to switch between Roads and Digital connectivity.  No notice given, existing channels put underground by current provider should be used in this case, no need for pole.

Realistically you will have little influence on this. If the LA has given permission for the pole, you will have to accept it unless you can find an overwhelming reason to change their minds.

You'd need to complain to your local authority's highways department. They are the ones who approve these poles. But you'd need a better case than "I don't like it there".

Photos and an explanation of the concern are needed for this.

Given the pole is going in the pavement, the concerns will need to be significant.
