I’m really struggling to find information online so not sure if anyone here can help me.
I’ve just upgraded to the Gig1 with volt. They are sending out the Hub 5 box. I’m unsure if it will be full fibre XGS-PON.
Currently I have checked on bidb and my address is showing as HFC. Is there any way of getting XGS-PON or even RFoG to my property or am I stuck with HFC.
VM don't offer RFoG on demand or XGS-PON on demand.
If they did it would be quite unaffordable for 1 home in a street.
Are you having a problems with the HFC connection ?
If Yes : Why are you upgrading your connection ?
Sounds like another customers services ‘chicken down’. I assume you probably have a Hub3 and this will not support a 1G connection, so they should be sending you a Hub5 if you are lucky or a Hun4 if you are not.
