FTTP for a business on my road

Recently got a letter explaining that virgin media are doing works on my road to supply fibre to the premises to a premier inn close by - is it possible that the local residents will be able to get fibre now as well? Or, has anyone had any experience in 'piggybacking' off a business getting FTTP for use in their home?
